Some of the best times in my life were spent sharing my life and my home with my great mate, actress Krista Vendy. We lived together in Melbourne with my two snakes, Sebastian and Lulu, from January 2000 to December 2002. Krista entered my life like a ray of sunshine and we will always be the best of mates, even though we now live 9,000 miles apart. I miss the great conversations, the laughs, the parties aand the gossip(!), but as we both now pursue our individual careers, we still celebrate in each other's successes.

hey, even celebrities can be fans sometimes!

:: paul stanley and pacifier

Arriving in L.A. I heard that one of my favourite New Zealand/Aussie bands, Shihad (now known as Pacifier) was doing a showcase at the infamous Viper Room on Sunset Strip, so I beat off the jet lag and headed down. They performed an amazing show and in the packed audience was none other than one of my favourite KISS members, Paul Stanley! He loved the show too.

:: the rock

I was lucky enough to visit the set of the spin-off film to The Mummy Returns called The Scorpion King - starring The Rock!!! The set was amazing - absolutely enormous structures of ancient Babylonian-style buildings. The location was well hidden deep in one of the valleys around Los Angeles and the night I visited it was an enormous Full Harvest Moon - very dramatic and magickal! The Rock was absolutely lovely and took time out from a gruelling fight scene for this photo!

:: jeff goldblum

I was out with my girlfriends one night in Beverly Hills and who did we bump into? Actor, Jeff Goldblum! He was playing keyboards in a slick jazz band at the club we were having dinner at. Apparently he does this every Thursday. Check him out at the Lounge on Santa Monica Blvd. He's very good and was nice enough to do this photo with me!

:: gene simmons

My favourite KISS member and good mate Gene Simmons! I was in New York doing promo for my book and Gene was in New York promoting the KISS Coffin. Yes, that's right - you can be buried surrounded by KISS and before you die the casket doubles as a beer cooler. Brilliant!! We bumped into each other in the studios of radio shock jock, Howard Stern, and caught up for dinner later on.
