Def FX formed in New South Wales, Australia. In a seven year career, they developed a large following and also released CDs in the United States, as "Definition FX".

"Def FX fuse together mechanical processes and natural elements blending hard core dance music, speed metal, rhythm, melody and pop to create a sound that is fresh, exciting, unique and above all... their own. Def FX are among the most innovative bands in the country, if not the world!"

Def FX was my whole life for seven years until Sean unexpectedly broke the band up. It was an incredible trip that had us tour America three times, Australia innumerable times, New Zealand, Singapore, Tokyo, Japan and Hong Kong. We released lots of music and had many peaks and valleys in our long career. Our last album, Majick, went Top 20 and we had Top 40 success with a few of our singles - but where we really excelled was in live performance - even when our music wasn't charting we would pull huge crowds to gigs. The shows were what I loved most, the adrenalin, the fun, the fans - our touring schedule was gruelling but it was a buzz.
